I am a senior paediatric speech and language therapist with a decade of clinical experience working in the NHS and private practice. I assess and provide therapy in; speech sound disorders, stutter/stammer, dyspraxia/apraxia of speech, speech and language difficulties due to autism and ADHD, early childhood intervention, social communication and developmental language disorder. I have previously worked in a  Psychology practice, which has given me invaluable knowledge and experience working with neurodiverse children and adolescents. I have a wealth of experience working with many ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. 

I am a certified Hanen Practitioner and conduct parent training programmes to assist with early intervention strategies for children aged 18 months to 5 years old. I understand the need of engaging parents in sessions to follow through with strategies explored in therapy and to initiate meaningful therapeutic intervention outside of  1:1 therapy sessions.

I work closely with teachers, schools and other healthcare professionals involved in the child's care in order to see faster and lasting progress. My therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and in line with the most up-to-date clinical research.

I am a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with four years' experience working in SEN/ALN education settings. 

My specialist interest is supporting autistic young people to communicate, express themselves, and advocate for their needs in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to them. I enjoy incorporating young people's passions and interests into therapy, creating opportunities for engagement, connection, and shared enjoyment. I believe that when communication is rooted in shared joy and genuine interests, we create more opportunities to celebrate spontaneous communication in all its forms.

I am currently in the final year of my masters in Autism Spectrum at the University of Chester, where my studies continue to strengthen my commitment to combining evidence-based practice with lived experience perspectives and self-advocacy.

I am a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and deliver sessions under the supervision of an experienced Speech and Language Therapist. I have a First Class honours degree in BA. Childhood and Youth Studies, which has equipped me with a wealth of experience in inclusion, learning needs, and children's communication. I have experience working in schools and language immersion centres, where I planned and delivered sessions to groups of children. I have knowledge and experience supporting children with autism and other communication difficulties. I make my sessions fun and engaging, following child-led and play-based therapeutic approaches. I have a keen special interest in early intervention and parent coaching in evidence-based strategies. Taking an holistic approach, I work with all involved in the child's life to maximise progress and quality of life. 

As a fluent Welsh speaker, I look forward to supporting children and families in both English and Welsh. I can provide sessions in Caernarfon, Bangor and the surrounding area.

I am a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and deliver sessions under the supervision of an experienced Speech and Language Therapist. I have a foundation degree in Midwifery and a degree in Ba. (hons) Health and Social Care. From my studies I have gained knowledge in early intervention and prevention strategies, child development, childhood attachment patterns and the significant role of children’s early life experiences in their neurological, psychological and behavioural development. 

I am passionate about creating opportunities for children to have positive and safe experiences. This allows them to develop communication, language and social skills to explore, interact , and thrive in everyday life. I am trauma informed and follow a child-led approach of care and have experience supporting both children, and their families, with communication difficulties, additional learning needs, trauma, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. I have a special interest in a whole family approach to enable parents and carers to feel informed, equipped and supported as they help their child to grow and flourish. 

In my personal life, I have an interest in embroidery and sewing and enjoy wild swimming in the North Wales lakes.
